Pallet Flow Racks
In a Pallet Flow Rack, loads travel on rails from the loading end to the discharge end. The first load entered is the first load taken out. The constant stock rotation is especially beneficial for date-sensitive goods and perishable items. This alternative is ideal for freezer warehouses, food distribution centers and storage of high-volume consumer goods.
Space Saving Design
The design is space saving; Pallet Flow Racks take up half the room of standard racks. The design allows you to store two or three times the amount of product in the same area. Since the racks on rails are powered by gravity, pallets flow from one end to the other without electricity or other utilities, saving you money.
Minimizes Warehousing & Handling Costs
The two-aisle design, one for loading the other for discharge, not only makes your workers more efficient, but cuts down on handling costs and equipment. This reduction saves labor, equipment, fuel and money. In addition, the smaller warehouse size needed can in turn reduce insurance, land acquisition costs, building costs and taxes. The smaller foot print of this high density storage system, also means that there is less warehouse to light, heat, air condition or refrigerate.
Less Product & Rack Damage
Since the forklifts have fewer aisles to travel and the pallets are flush to the end, there is less product and rack damage.
